The roots of Shatavari or Asparagus racemosus have galactagogue, antispasmodic, appetizer, cooling, tonic and aphrodisiac properties.

Action:

Asparagus is a herb that regulates hormonal secretion. Shatavari acts as a galactagogue and is useful in promoting lactation.

Indications:

• Reduced breast milk secretion in nursing women.
• Menopausal and postmenopausal symptoms.

Dosage*

One capsule, twice a day, before meals.
